Here are some tips that’ll have you transform from tourist to jetsetter within minutes by adding some jewellery and accessories - the finishing touches to your outfits
Packing your jewellery & accessories
It all begins with the packing so you can have minimum fuss when unpacking your goodies. A jewellery organiser or roll can be ideal for storing your beauties and are pretty compact which is essential for us ladies
If you haven’t got an organiser a flannel, can be rolled up and tied at either end with your jewellery kept inside.
Ideally a soft pouch is brilliant for keeping your treasures. It is always recommended you try to keep pairs together, however if you place them in separate bags or pouches this will avoid them rubbing together, scratching or tarnishing.
Concerned about taking your favourite jewellery on holiday?
If you decide to keep your most valuable jewellery at home, then costume jewellery can be a great alternative. Costume Jewellery travels well and can come in a variety of colours. They are great for accessorising your swimsuit or that summer dress.
Creating the look & style
It is worth thinking about the activities you would love to do while you are on holiday as this will help you choose what to pack i.e planning to got to the beach, then simple studs are ideal.
Decide on what outfits you will be wearing first as these will help you pick the jewellery and accessories to pack.
Here are some ideas to help you create that “just something I threw together look”:
A simple dress, a basic clutch and a statement necklace are perfect for an evening’s entertainment .
For those days spent sight-seeing, an oversized cocktail ring can brighten up a top and a plain pair of trousers or a plain dress
Sipping cocktails by the pool? How about a cuff bracelet to complete your ensemble
Or how about a wide-brim hat, a loose fitting top together with drop earrings for that showstopping look?
